Tomorrow morning my sweet mama goes in for her scans to check on the progress of her chemotherapy. Our hope and prayer is that the scans show that the cancer is GONE, that the chemo has done its job and that she is healthy. If all is clear, she will have just 2 treatments left (for "good measure") and will only have to do her follow-up check-ups with her doctors after that to monitor her body. We will most likely know the results on Friday when she goes in for her scheduled treatment and sees the Dr. I can't even imagine the apprehension that Mom is feeling tonight and will feel while waiting on the results (about a million times more than me- which is a lot). Please keep her and my family in your thoughts and prayers this week- that she is calmed and comforted knowing that God is by her side and that so many people are praying for her, and that her body is healed and rid of cancer.
Big week for us. HUGE.
