Our weekend started out great on Friday- we had Mary and her husband, Seth, over for dinner and we played some games (girls won, of course). We hadn't seen them in forever, so it was great to catch up. So glad they came over!
So this year Ben and I decided to buy a "six pack" of Aggie basketball tickets for Saturday games. That means for six Saturdays Jan-March, we head up to Aggieland to support our Aggies. Hmmm, sounds an awful lot like the months of September-November :). Unfortunately, we missed the first two games in our package, so yesterday was our first chance to actually sit in our seats. After sitting in them yesterday, we feel AWFUL about even giving them to the two other couples that used them for the games we missed. (Side Note: One of the couples was even nice enough to get us tickets to one of the earlier games right behind the Aggie bench, close enough to smell the sweat and Bengay on the players (sounds gross, but that's how close we were)...and then we gave them our seats. Talk about a let down! Sorry guys!) They are on the very LAST row of Reed Arena. No joke! Here are pics to prove...
This is Ben pointing to our section number, yes, we back up to the wall of the arena.

And if we look straight ahead, this is what we see- banners! Hahaha.
Ok, last one- just me and the hubby having a good time.

The game was still fun- even if we do need binoculars to see- and the Ags won in a close game against Oklahoma which made it exciting! We seriously do love going back to B/CS. We have some very good friends from college that were lucky enough to find jobs and settle down in the area (and are always nice enough to give us a place to stay!) so its like a mini-reunion every time we go back!
Today is Super Bowl Sunday- we're having a few people from church over to watch it with us so it should be a fun night! Can't wait for the commercials :)
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
